As an unincorporated town, real estate in Clackamas is considered to be in a suburb of Portland, lying about 16 miles due northwest of it. The North Clackamas Aquatic Park property is located in nearby Milwaukie. Life Christian School is a private school that provides education for children in grade pre-kindergarten through the eighth grade in a Christian-led environment.
