Beavercreek is a small community in terms of population. It is home to only around 4500 people living here. However, the area is somewhat expansive, spanning a total of over 20 square miles of land. Beavercreek is nearly all residential and part rural. There are some farm areas as well as a smaller commercial center.

  • The name "Beaver Creek" was originally used in 1950 to name a neighborhood school district, and was never supposed to be the name of a city.

Beavercreek School Information

The school system in Beavercreek is a part of the Oregon City School District. However, some neighborhood children living here also attend Canby School District or Molalla River School District. The only actual school within the city's boundaries is Beavercreek Elementary School. That makes it one of the primary options for elementary education before students move off to larger schools.

With higher housing prices and limited availability of homes for sale, it may seem that Beavercreek is a limited place to purchase property. But for homeowners here, it is the ideal option. It is near Portland, offers a more remote feel, and yet is still within a short drive of most area amenities. Real estate prices are on the way up, making this area the ideal investment for many.
